Alison Bradbury and Edward Phillips appointed as Deputy Lieutenants

The Bedfordshire Lieutenancy welcomes two new Deputy Lieutenants to Team Bedfordshire.

Two new Deputy Lieutenants were announced at a commissioning event at The Swan Hotel, Bedford. 

The two Deputy Lieutenants will assist the Lord-Lieutenant and Vice Lord-Lieutenant in their work to support voluntary, community, statutory, civic, armed forces, business and many other aspects of county life which seek to bring kindness, opportunity and cohesion in Bedfordshire.

The new Deputy Lieutenant are:

  • Alison Sara BRADBURY MEng BEM
  • Edward Paul Nicholas PHILLIPS

 Congratulating both ontheir commission, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire said “Both Alison and Edward bring to the Bedfordshire Lieutenancy a wealth of experience and a proven track record of serving our community. I wish them both an enjoyable and rewarding term of office and I am looking forward to working with them across our county”.

HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Mrs Susan Lousada, signed the Commission of two new Deputy Lieutenants of the County of Bedfordshire on 27 March 2025 and an announcement was placed in The London Gazette.
