Mon 24th June 2024
The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Christopher Sharwood-Smith joined members of the Armed Forces, Central Bedfordshire Council and the Royal British Legion to commemorate Armed Forces Day with a flag raising.
The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Christopher Sharwood-Smith joined members of the Armed Forces, veterans and Central Bedfordshire Council to commemorate Armed Forces Day with a flag raising.

The event, one of many that have been organised across Bedfordshire, is to commemorate serving members of the Armed Forces, as well as Veterans, their families and Cadets.

Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June, falling this year on 29 June.

It is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets.
