On Tuesday 6 December 2022, His Majesty The King visited Luton.

The visit was in three parts and The King visited Luton Town Hall, Luton Guru Nanak Gurdawara and Luton DART. The King met many people from the many diverse communities including charities, school children, apprentices, Luton Airport personnel and veterans.

His Majesty was welcomed to Luton by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Susan Lousada who accompanied him at the Town Hall and Luton DART. Vice Lord-Lieutenant Chris Sharwood-Smith MBE welcomed His Majesty at the Gurdwara.

The King took a ride on the DART and unveiled plaques at all three venues.
