Together with Susan Clinch, Ampthill's Town Mayor, Russell Beard, The High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, various other mayors and local councillors, Mark Hardy, DL celebrated Ampthill's civic service. 

The event was well attended by local residents, with entertainment from two local schools; Russell Lower School and Alameda Middle School. 

Mr Hardy, DL thanked Susan Clinch for her impassioned speech on climate change and met with various cadets, local residents and the clergy of St. Andrews Church, Ampthill.
