The Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Susan Lousada, joined The High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Bhavesh Shah, as well as Mayor of Bedford, Tom Wootton and members of the Bedford Borough Council team to salute and honour our serving Armed Forces Personnel, Reservists, Veterans and Military Charities. 

The parade welcomed members of the public to watch the grand parade and engage in fun activities throughout the morning. 

The day was rounded off with the distinguished military unit at Chicksands, Central Bedfordshire, being granted the Freedom of the Borough. 

A great many thanks to all that joined the parade and all those who came to wave and show their appreciation to our current and retired armed forces family.
